Loop Day Progression & Badges
Pace the Alpha loop, hit Day milestones, and plan Pure Skill or Pocket Full runs.
Days are the backbone of Loop progression. Each one can remix layout pressure, mission urgency, and entity density inside the Roblox liminal roguelike by Gazing at the Moon (Runaaruu). The experience remains Alpha / early access since 2026-08-21, so exact spawn tables may shift — but the badge milestones and challenge rules below are the targets players organize around. Use this page after Getting Started when you can survive early Days and want a plan.
Day badge milestones
For the full Alpha badge catalog (Death Any%, Two Flashlights?, entity stamps, and more), use All Badges. This page stays focused on Day pacing plus Pure Skill / Pocket Full.
| Badge focus | What it signals |
|---|---|
| Day 5 | You understand basic movement, light, and mission flow |
| Day 10 | Consistent survival past the tutorial brain |
| Day 25 | Mid-depth stamina: shop discipline, entity respect, anomaly focus |
| Day 50 | Long-run mastery and co-op coordination under fatigue |
These are survival depth markers, not story chapters. Hitting Day 10 once teaches more than ten rage-quits on Day 2. If you prefer ending runs cleanly, learn How to EXIT so you can leave after a milestone instead of gambling every streak into a wipe.
Survival pacing by bracket
Days 1–5
- Maximize readable graphics (Controls).
- Complete missions that open safe knowledge of the map (Missions and Collections).
- Buy only essentials unless you are already saving for a challenge rule set.
- Practice one Smiler stun so flashlight panic ends (How to Stun Smilers).
Days 6–10
- Expect tighter mistakes: MineSpider clustering in co-op (up to 30 players) becomes lethal.
- Assign roles casually — one player watches Standing Man angles while others grab objectives.
- Keep two flashlights in the team economy when possible.
- Bank coins with intent; random spending fights later Pocket Full attempts on other saves/runs.
Days 11–25
- Anomalies matter more. Treat PopUp.exe failures (Blue Screen) as preventable run damage.
- Rotate leadership in public lobbies so nobody solo-greeds every prop.
- Consider scheduled EXIT after a personal best if the next spike looks unfair for your gear.
Days 26–50
- Fatigue errors dominate. Take real breaks; Alpha sessions can blur.
- Reset mental checklists each Day: light, exits, entity calls, mission priority.
- Do not invent strategies from unverified leaks — stick to confirmed entities and shop rules.
Challenge: Pure Skill
Pure Skill = reach Day 20 with no purchases, solo.
Implications:
- The Upgrades / Items shop is off-limits for buys on that run.
- You still collect coins; you simply refuse to spend them on the shop.
- Flashlight advantage from purchases is gone — scavenged or default light discipline must carry you.
- Solo means you cannot lean on a 30-player flashlight wall.
Training tips:
- Run practice Days where you may buy, but narrate every purchase you skip.
- Learn stun timings so Smilers are solvable without paid crutches.
- Avoid “just one cheap upgrade” rationalizations — the badge cares about no purchases, not almost none.
- If you accidentally buy, end the attempt mentally and start a clean Pure Skill run later.
Pure Skill is a discipline badge. It pairs well with players who already finished EXIT once and understand when to disengage from bad rooms.
Challenge: Pocket Full
Pocket Full = earn 10,000 coins before Day 20, solo.
Implications:
- You need a farm mindset: missions that pay, efficient routes, fewer vanity spends.
- Buying upgrades can help you survive to keep earning — unlike Pure Skill — but every purchase slows the coin total.
- Dying early with 7k feels worse than EXIT at 10k if the badge is the goal; know your threshold (How to EXIT).
Training tips:
- Track approximate coins each Day; guess less, note more.
- Skip low-value detours that burn time without payout.
- Use light to reduce death tax — a wipe resets more than a cautious slow clear.
- Do not mix Pure Skill and Pocket Full on the same attempt; their shop philosophies conflict.
Co-op vs solo progression
Public co-op accelerates learning and Day badges through shared information, but challenge badges above specify solo. Use co-op to:
- Scout how Days escalate
- Practice callouts for Standing Man / MineSpider / Smiler
- Learn mission prop locations
Then switch solo for Pure Skill or Pocket Full. Mixing modes mid-challenge risks invalidating the attempt depending on how the badge tracks party state — play it safe and stay solo for the full challenge run.
Economy reminder
- Coins fuel the shop when you allow spending.
- Flashlights (hold up to two) are progression multipliers for vision, not just flavor.
- Codes are not a progression shortcut today — none documented on the Codes Hub.
Suggested weekly plan (Alpha)
- Two co-op sessions focused on Day badge PBs.
- One EXIT practice if the badge is missing.
- One solo Pocket Full economy rehearsal (even if you stop short of 10k).
- One solo Pure Skill rehearsal to Day as far as comfort allows without buys.
- Skim Updates if a patch notes Day tuning.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What Day badges exist in Loop?
Documented Day milestones include badges for Days 5, 10, 25, and 50, plus separate EXIT, Pure Skill, and Pocket Full challenges.
What is Pure Skill?
A solo challenge badge for reaching Day 20 without making any shop purchases.
What is Pocket Full?
A solo challenge badge for gathering 10,000 coins before Day 20. It conflicts with Pure Skill’s no-purchase rule, so run them separately.
Should I push Days in a full 30-player server?
Co-op is great for learning and Day badges, but Pure Skill and Pocket Full should be attempted solo. Large lobbies also raise MineSpider chain-explosion risk.
